Chef Stanislav Domček was born in 1982 in Nitra. He studied to become a chef at the Secondary Vocational School in Lužianky. During his studies, as well as after graduating, he gained experience in the culinary profession at many popular establishments of the time. However, his work in Munich, Germany, and later in the Tyrolean Alps taught him the most. When he was given the opportunity to put his experience to use at the newly opened Chateau Appony hotel, he did not hesitate, and after years spent abroad, his dream came true—a dream shared by many chefs working abroad: to live and work at home. Thanks to his experience, skills, and excellent culinary team, the SONGE restaurant is now one of Slovakia’s renowned establishments.
